DELTA FORCE® - BLACK HAWK DOWN® XBOX MOVES TO Q1 ‘05
LONDON, UK (September 29th, 2004) - Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Ltd. today announced a new ship date for Delta Force - Black Hawk Down, on the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft.
"The new ship date allows for an extended development period, which gives us the opportunity to really focus on the Xbox® LiveTM features planned for the title," explained Lee Milligan, President of NovaLogic. "We are also working on a few other features, exclusive to the game, which could make Delta Force - Black Hawk Down one of the best and most talked about Xbox Live titles of 2005."
Based on the award winning, number 1 best selling PC game, Delta Force - Black Hawk Down is being redeveloped specifically for Xbox. Set in Somalia in 1993 and based upon and around the Operation Restore Hope and Task Force Ranger campaigns, players will take on the role of an elite Delta Force Operative as they participate in a number of daring raids against the oppressive Somali warlords in and around Mogadishu. Developed by Climax in the UK, Delta Force - Black Hawk Down brings the intensity of Modern Warfare to Xbox with a range of intense single player and multiplayer missions.
Delta Force - Black Hawk Down is scheduled to ship on Xbox during Q1 2005.
