Deathloop wins big at 2022 IGDA Global Industry Game Awards

It Takes Two, Returnal and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart also picked up multiple wins

The 2022 Global Industry Game Awards took place last night, hosted annually by the International Game Develoepers Association.

Arkane was the big winner of the night with Deathloop, which secured 13 different awards spanning the art, audio, design, technology and support categories.

It Takes Two from EA's Hazelight Studios also picked up ten awards, one for engineering, two for art, design and support, and three in the writing category.

Other titles to pick up multiple awards included Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Housemarque's Returnal.

On the indie front, Witch Beam's Unpacking picked up two awards for 2D Animation and 2D Environment Art. Kitfox's Boyfriend Dungeon also appeared, taking home the 2D Character Design award.

Mobile startup Double Loop Games also picked up two accolades for Upcoming Indie and Workplace Diversity and Inclusivity.
