Deadline extended for GDC Mobile contest

Entrants now have until February 2

The deadline for the Mobile Game Innovation Hunt, a new contest being held as part of this year's GDC Mobile, has been extended until February 2.

Developers are invited to pitch their most innovative titles to a panel of judges, which will include Sprint Nextel's Joe Ariganello and IGN Wireless editor Levi Buchanan.

The contest is designed to give entrants direct feedback from industry leaders, including US distributors, along with exposure for their games. The judges will draw up a shortlist of between 12 and 15 titles in early February, and the final will take place on March 5 from 5pm - 6pm.

For more information and to submit entries online, visit the GDC Mobile website.
