Dates set for Games Connect: Asia Pacific

The organisers of GCAP have announced the dates of this year's event and are calling for submissions

Game Developers Association of Australia, the organisers of Games Connect: Asia Pacific, have announced that this year's event will be held in Brisbane, Queensland from November 19-22.

GCAP is calling for papers for the conference and trade display and will accept speaker submissions until June 6 from international and domestic leading industry members of the games, IT, interactive entertainment, film and sound industries.

"The new game developer and publisher focused GCAP 08 program will address topics and trends of the Asia Pacific game industry," said Greg Bondar, Chairman of GCAP 08 and GDAA CEO.

GDAA is looking for presentations and workshops in the fields of game development, writing and scripting, project management, serious games in defense, health, education and simulation, business modeling and marketing, finance and investment and skills and recruitment.
