Dark Souls II remaster is Japanese #1

PlayStation 4 top in hardware

From Software's brutal Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin has entered the Japanese software chart at number one with almost 20,500 copies sold. The game is a remaster of the March 2014 release for PlayStation 3.

It was the only new entry in the top 20 this week.

In hardware PlayStation 4 sales fell by 8,853 on last week but the console still retained the top seller title, closely followed by the PlayStation Vita at two.
