Cross Fire

"Invite a friend" feature launched for closed beta testers.

Toronto, CANADA (November 20, 2008) - G4BOX Inc, a North American publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment media, today announced that players in the closed beta test for its highly-anticipated, free-to-play, online military first-person shooter Cross Fire will now be able to take advantage of a new feature that allows them to invite their friends into the exclusive beta. This new feature allows all registered players to send ten beta invitations to their friends. For more information and to download the game visit www.crossfire-en.com .

Once an invitation is received by a player’s friend, they simply must register a Cross Fire account with that same email at www.crossfire-en.com to be automatically added to the game without any need for a closed beta key. The closed beta test for Cross Fire is currently in progress and will run through early December, offering gamers an opportunity to play-test one of four high-adrenaline game modes prior to the shooter’s official launch early next year. “A game like Cross Fire is an experience players will want to enjoy with their friends,” said Howard He, CEO and Co-founder of G4BOX. “Cross Fire’s addictive, high intensity fire-fights have been a hit with first-person shooter fans and now they can quickly and easily get their friends in on the action too.”

Cross Fire is an online, military-themed, first-person shooter for the PC platform. The game features two International Mercenary Forces Corporations locked in an epic global struggle. Players assume the role of either a Black List terrorist or Global Risk mercenary, joining an online team that must work together to complete objective-based scenarios. Cross Fire will feature four online modes of play including, Team Death Match, Team Match, Annihilation Match and the all-new Ghost Match. Based on their performance in-game, players will receive experience points and be promoted through various Military Ranks. Players will also have the ability to customize their character’s equipment and appearance through Cross Fire’s in-game item shop.
