Head on over to http://cc.cosmicbreak.com/ to get in on the action!

The CosmicCommander Alpha Test runs from Dec. 1st, 12:00 PM (PST) until Dec. 14th, with official release planned for Spring 2011. Check out the official trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql4uOnspfNE

CosmicCommander is an online multiplayer strategy simulation game that may be played directly from one’s web browser. Players command an army of robots, organizing them into squads and pitting them against enemy forces.

Although still in the early development stage, future versions of CosmicCommander will, over the course of several months worth of in-game play time, allow players to amass and command large armies consisting of over 100 squads, each squad containing several individual robots. Casual players may focus on commanding a handful of finely tuned squads, while heavier players will be able to take command of entire armies, deploy multiple squads at once, send reinforcements to their allies, and more!

CosmicCommander also features dynamic, fluid action sequences during battles, a feature absent from many browser-based multiplayer games. During the Alpha Test, players will be able to try out the battle system, as well as learn the basic squad building mechanic of the game.

CosmicBreak Tie-In Campaign featuring cash currency prizes!

CosmicCommander features the same in-game universe and many of the same robots as CyberStep's popular MMO third person shooter CosmicBreak. CosmicCommander and CosmicBreak accounts are shared; players who already have a CosmicBreak account may login using that account and play CosmicCommander. What's more, players who participate in the CosmicCommander Alpha Test will be awarded special prizes in CosmicBreak this Christmas!

At the end of the CosmicCommander Alpha Test, an elimination style tournament will be held to determine the strongest Alpha Test player. The top 100 placing users in the tournament will be awarded premium in-game Rt currency for use in CosmicBreak, with a Grand Prize of $500 USD worth of Rt for the 1st Place winner! Visit CosmicBreak’s official website for more details about the tie-in campaign, and a complete list of tournament prizes: http://www.cosmicbreak.com/
