Twenty nominees unveiled for Best Video Games Projects 2011.
LYON, FRANCE – November 8, 2010 – Organizers of the 10th Edition of Game Connection Europe -- November 15th-18th business-focused trade show in Lyon, France -- today announced the names of 20 nominees to Best Video Games Projects 2011 in three categories: Console, Mobile, and Online. Winning games will be showcased on opening day to a group of publishers and distributors interested in signing the projects that are changing the industry as we know it. Best breed of Indie games will be demonstrated on November 16th (9am to 11am) Lyon, France’s City Center of Congress.
Amongst 20 Nominees games, only the top three will be honored as ‘Best Project 2011'.

20 promising indie games identified!
Game Connection has identified creative and innovative projects coming from Indie game developers. The competition was open to console, mobile, and online games ranging from pre-production to ready-to-market, without restrictions on genre, platform, or distribution method. Game Connection Selected Projects will reveal for the first time 20 projects currently under development before they got signed!
“ Every single nominee will have the same time-slot at Game Connection Europe: Five minutes top to pitch and demo its game. They’ll be presented to key publishers and distributors who will vote for them,” says Pierre Carde, Managing Director, Game Connection.
