UK developer and publisher, Codemasters, has unveiled its launch titles for Sony's PlayStation Portable, which will arrive in Europe on September 1st, with Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus and TOCA Race Driver 2 both ready.
Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus features driving across nine countries; UK, Greece, Japan, Australia, USA, Spain, Finland, Sweden and Germany, in a range of 30 rally cars including Audi A3 3.2 Quattro, Toyota Celica GT 4 and the Lancia Stratos.
Races can be played in either three-minute stages or a full three-hour championship and wireless multiplayer for up to eight players is being touted, with the added ability of being able to send replays to other PSPs.
TOCA Race Driver 2's racing spreads across a number of variations in motorsport, including open wheel grand prix, super truck racing, rally, street racing, GT racing and V8 Supercars.
The game will boast 30 championships and 52 circuits such as Hockenheim, Surfers' Paradise and Brands Hatch. Cars include the Jaguar XJ220 AMR, Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and the Ford 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R, from a total of 32, and up to 12 players can play wirelessly.
