CMY Multimedia is celebrating its first "Day of Non-Violent Games" in the United States together with the Boys and Girls Club of Irvine, California

Irvine, CA, November 6, 2004 - CMY Multimedia, a children's software game company, is celebrating with the participation of the Boys and Girls Club, the Day of Non-Violent Games on Saturday, November 20th, 2004, from 10:00-12:00 pm at 295 East Yale Loop in Irvine.

The main purpose of the event is to bring awareness to entertaining forms of playing that contain no violence. There will be board games, foosball, pool table, relays, three leg running, computer games and much more. "This event is for having fun and for parents and children to enjoy themselves while playing together," said Gretchen Long, Branch Director for the Boys and Girls Club in Irvine, California.

"We feel that there are many individuals and organizations in America that share our same belief of enjoyable entertainment without belligerence. We also believe that the violence in video games is a worldwide issue, where brutality is presented to children as the ultimate rush. For this reason, we would like to expand the celebration of the Day of Non-Violent Games in the United States and ask you to join us in making this event possible," said Antonio Romero, Director of Business Development in the United States.

The Day of Non-Violent Games is open to everyone. It is also supported by Ribbon of Promise (National Campaign for Ending School Violence) in Oregon and the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence in Tennessee. For people interested in attending, please call 949-551-5717
