Claire Anderson appointment

Joins dev studio training outfit as senior consultant.

25th March 2008, London, UK.  TwelveJ, the games industry leader in bespoke learning programmes for development studios today announced the appointment of Claire Anderson as Senior Consultant.

Anderson joins the flourishing Twelve J from Datascope, where she managed art and animation recruitment.  Prior to this she worked in HR at the BBC covering HR policies and staff development.

Kumar Jacob, founder and Managing Director of TwelveJ said, "I'm delighted to have Claire join us as we roll out more training programmes and compile an innovative programme of workshops designed exclusively for development studios."

TwelveJ continues to create and implement training programs for developers of all sizes including Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Media Molecule.

TwelveJ recently held an open workshop, hosted by Ed Hooks and entitled 'Acting for Animators' where he explained seven essential acting principles, focusing on the connections between thinking, emotion and physical movement. He also discussed the importance of empathy in acting and demonstrated how to achieve it in animation.

About Kumar Jacob

Kumar Jacob has worked for several companies at a senior management and director level. He held the position of Vice-President – Corporate Affairs at Criterion Software, a subsidiary of electronics giant Canon, where he was responsible for finance, human resources and information systems.

Kumar gained an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management and sits on several boards including, the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and also chairs its Charitable Funds Trust.  Kumar is a trustee of Christian Aid.  www.twelvej.co.uk
