Cinemaware Marquee(TM) Announces Upcoming Retail Release Of Award-Winning Darwinia(TM) Title

Compelling New PC Title Arriving on Store Shelves in U.S. and Canada in June 2006

LANGHORNE, PA - April 4, 2006 - Cinemaware Marquee, an affiliated label of eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), today announced that it will soon be bringing Introversion Software's critically acclaimed PC game Darwinia to North American retail shelves. With a unique visual style and absorbing gameplay mechanics, Darwinia's simple premise reveals a gateway to an all-consuming gaming experience.

"Introversion Software is a truly rare developer, making games that are unlike anything else I've ever played," said Lars Batista, Vice President, Product Development of eGames. "It is a perfect fit in our expanding lineup of fiercely original games, and we are proud to give it the distribution and support it deserves in North America."

Darwinia continues Cinemaware Marquee's strategy of bringing offbeat, innovative titles from around the world to gamers in the U.S. and Canada. Darwinia is impossible to classify - it combines elements of strategy, action, "God" control, and retro arcade action into one absolutely compelling game.

Developed by pioneering developer Introversion Software, Darwinia is a virtual theme park that exists inside a computer network built by a technology genius named Dr. Sepulveda, populated by sentient, evolving life forms called the Darwinians. Unfortunately, the systems of Darwinia have been overrun by an out of control, evil red Viral Infection. Your task is to destroy this disease and save the Darwinians from extinction.

"We lived and breathed Darwinia for many, many days and nights and it is great to see our life-blood get distribution in North America," said Chris Delay, Head of Development at Introversion Software. "We now look forward to partnering with Cinemaware Marquee to make Darwinia accessible to everyone."

Darwinia recently won three 2006 Independent Games Festival Awards at the Game Developer Conference, including the Seumas McNally Grand Prize for Best Independent Game, Innovation in Game Design award, and the Technical Excellence award. The game has also enjoyed unprecedented widespread critical acclaim in the gaming press. Computer Gaming World gave Darwinia 4.5 out of 5 stars and PC Gamer UK described Darwinia as "the most artistically exciting PC game ever". IGN.com said simply "I love Darwinia."

Darwinia will be available for $29.99 in June everywhere games are sold. As an added bonus, the game will include an exclusive poster and collectible figurine.
