ChaseTheChuckwagon.com rebranding

Video game auction site now to be known as GameGavel.com.

Orange County, CA (PR) – October 26, 2009 Video Game dedicated auction site ChaseTheChuckwagon.com has just gone through a major transformation to becoming the go-to online destination to buy and sell new and used video games. This weekend the site received a very significant facelift, which also includes the use of a new name, GameGavel.com. Mike Kennedy, founder of GameGavel.com explains, “ChaseTheChuckwagon was to obscure of a name. It resonated well with classic gamers but left modern day gamers wondering, what the name meant. GameGavel is, to put it simply, a more identifiable name for a video gaming auction site”.

With this facelift comes a new homepage layout that is more inviting to visitors. Mike believes the new homepage will entice visitors to register and bid. GameGavel.com is poised to take on Ebay head-on by offering a less expensive selling fee environment, in one of Ebay’s most lucrative selling categories. This coupled with the fact it is dedicated only to video games makes it much easier for gamers to find that game they are looking for at a price they can afford. Since launching only on March 24th, 2008, it has grown to over 3,000 members, has hosted over 200,000 auctions and has sold over $160,000 in merchandise - all the while saving sellers significant money in selling fees when compared to the greedy Ebay.

Being the most successful video gaming dedicated auction site also makes it an attractive outlet for advertisers. If you want to target a gaming demographic and you don’t want to spend a lot on advertising, this is the place to place your ads. Inquire about advertising at contact@gamegavel.com.
