Changes at Just Flight

Cambridge, England.

11 November 2004 (Remembrance Day)

UK-based flight simulation publisher, Just Flight, announced today that Andy Payne will take over as Managing Director from Mungo Amyatt-Leir, who will be leaving the company at the end of December.

Commenting on the change, Andy said "Like everyone in flight simulation, Just Flight is looking forward to the exciting challenges that the future holds. I'm confident that the Just Flight crew will continue to bring the very best software to a wider audience and support the developers and community that make our hobby what it is!"

Mungo added "It's been terrific fun working with the great team at Just Flight over the last eight years, but feel I have served my commission and now is the time to step aside and move on to new areas."

As part of Just Flight's continuing expansion, Alex Ford, currently Just Flight's Senior Product Manager, will fulfil the new role of Publishing Director, responsible for new and existing products, as well as developer relationships.

Commenting on his new position, Alex said: "I greatly enjoy flight simulation and my expanded role will allow me to work closely with the people behind the marvellous software that keeps us airborne on our PCs. In these days of virtual (and impersonal) communications I'm very much looking forward to meeting developers in person and working together to create high quality, innovative products for flight simulation."

Alex summed up: "In the coming months the entire Just Flight team will be getting out and about to meet the members of our community at shows and events in Europe, the USA and beyond. We look forward to seeing you soon and hearing your valuable feedback."
