Championship Manager, the leading name in football management simulation, is delighted to unveil its brand new logo.
Since 1992, the Championship Manager series has inspired and entertained fans, and after 16 years, feels that now is the time for the main image to evolve, to reflect the complete re-design of the game and its technology.
The familiar logo, imprinted on the memories of millions of football fans, has been given a more emotive, contemporary and original look to match the series’ gameplay; its chrome and metallic yellow mirroring the trophies adorning the cabinets of the managers’ virtual offices.
Roy Meredith of Championship Manager said: “As iconic as our classic Championship Manager logo is, we felt that the time was right for it to have a complete makeover, just as we have done with the game itself. Every year since 1992 we have introduced innovative new features to our games and we believe that our new logo is in keeping with this.
We hope that the new logo will offer people a taste of what’s to come with the next instalment of the Championship Manager series. Championship Manager was born out of passion, and we consider the new logo to be an appropriate reflection of this and our love for the beautiful game.”
The addition of a globe-esque football looming over the title and with a suited silhouette standing confidently in front, this logo places the emphasis on you, the manager, and whether your defining moment is leading your beloved club to the promised land of the Premier League, winning the World Cup with your adopted nation, or simply saving your team from the precipice of financial ruin, Championship Manager is all about giving you a footballing world at your fingertips.
