Cavanagh steps down as SCi chair, remains as CEO

SCi boss Jane Cavanagh has stepped down from her role as chairwoman of the British publisher, with former non-executive director Tim Ryan replacing her as non-executive chairman of the board.

Cavanagh will continue to serve as CEO of the firm. Under her tenure, the company has grown to become the UK's largest videogame publisher, following the acquisition of larger rival Eidos last year.

Ryan's appointment as non-executive chairman takes effect immediately, and SCi is planning to appoint two further non-executive directors in the near future in order to strengthen the firm's board.
