CAPCOM® TO CELEBRATE FANS OF ALL AGES AT COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL 2006

SUNNYVALE, Calif - July 10, 2006 - Capcom®, a powerhouse in the multi-billion dollar video game industry, today announced an exciting lineup of activities geared towards gaming fans of all ages at the upcoming Comic-Con International: San Diego. Capcom will be located in booth #4145, which will feature more than a dozen playable demos and a store offering a variety of merchandise. In addition, Capcom will host three major gametournaments where competitors can put their skills to the test in Street Fighter® II' Hyper Fighting, Street Fighter® Alpha 3 and Mega Man Battle Network® 6. Comic-Con 2006 will take place at the San Diego Convention Center from July 20-23. Comic-Con attendees can get a peek at Capcom's upcoming game lineup with demos of several console, handheld and mobile titles. Game stations will include the following playable titles: Lost Planet for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft; Capcom® Classics Collection Vol. 2, TM kami and God Hand for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system; Capcom® Classics Collection Reloaded, Capcom® Puzzle World, Power Stoneâ Collection and Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system; Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice For All and Mega Man® ZX for the Nintendo DS; Mega Man, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Resident Evil: The Missions, Street Fighter II and Super Puzzle Fighter II: Network Battle for the mobile phone platform. Capcom's booth will include a store offering show goers a variety of merchandise including: an array of classic and current games such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for the Nintendo DS (including bonus Ace Attorney DS stylus); Universal Media Disc (UMD) movies for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system including Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie, Night Warriors Darkstalkers Revenge Alpha and Night Warriors Darkstalkers Revenge Omega; Resident Evil® 4 Soundtrack book; PhoenixWright and Chun-Li plush toys; Devil May Cry® 3: Dante's Awakening Dante action figure; assorted Capcom apparel; and a variety of rare limited edition merchandise. Highlighting Capcom's show plans will be game tournaments featuring Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting on Xbox Live® Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Street Fighter Alpha 3 (from Street Fighter® Alpha Anthology for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system) and Mega Man Battle Network® 6 for the Game Boy® Advance video game system. The Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting tournament will take place on Saturday, July 22, from 12:00pm-5:00pm and the grand prize winner will receive an Xbox 360 console, courtesy of Microsoft. Net battlers can duke it out with Mega Man Battle Network 6 for the chance to win one of two Nintendo DS Lites, courtesy of Nintendo of America, on Sunday, July 23, from 10:00am-12:00pm. Rounding out the competition weekend will be Street Fighter Alpha 3 on Sunday, July 23, from 12:30pm-4:00pm with the winner receiving a $250 Best Buy gift certificate.
