Oberon Media donating 5% of purchases at MSN Games to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

NEW YORK & LONDON - October 14, 2009 - Oberon Media, the world's leading multi-platform casual games company, and Microsoft today announced a commitment to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Oberon Media and Microsoft will donate five percent of the profits for every PC game purchased on MSN Games from October 12-18, 2009.

"We are proud to team together with Oberon Media in an effort to raise money for this cause," said Megan Hodel, MSN Games Global Marketing Manager. "We are committed to making a difference and encourage players to support this effort by purchasing some of their favorite casual games."

Breast cancer is the leading cause of death for women ages 40-59, and the most prominent cancer among all American women, the majority of whom had few risk factors. This year, an estimated 215,990 women and 1,450 men in the U.S. alone will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and it is estimated that 40,410 women and 460 men will die from breast cancer this year. Since its inception in 1982, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® has become the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion. The organization is working towards saving lives, empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cure to fight breast cancer.
