Boonty appoints two new executives in US management team

Digital distribution provider, Boonty, has announced the appointment of two key members to the executive management team of its US division, as the company continues to expand its operations.

Kevin Malone joins the company as executive vice president of business development, bringing with him a number of years experience in technology and digital media. Malone previously served as VP of sales and distribution for digital music firm Liquid Audio, and has also overseen the international business development for Silicon Graphics in addition to a range of roles at IBM and Control Data.

Gabe Zichermann has been appointed as chief marketing and strategy officer, and will oversee the company's US marketing and development strategies. Zichermann brings a wealth of industry experience in developing markets for emerging technologies. Previously serving as head of marketing for the Game Developers Conference, Gamasutra and Game Developer magazine, Zichermann was most recently employed as VP of strategy and communications for Trymedia Systems.
