Bomberman Dojo

Heading to Google's Android platform, along with Military Madness.

San Mateo, Calif. – March 4, 2009 – Beware of androids equipped with bombs and military weaponry! Bomberman Dojo and Military Madness, two new mobile games from Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American publishing arm of HUDSON SOFT, are coming soon to Android Market. Opened in October 2008, Android Market offers free and priced applications for the open standard mobile device platform developed by the Open Handset Alliance. To ignite their entry into the development of priced applications for Android Market, Hudson Entertainment created new mobile versions of their classic Bomberman and Military Madness titles.

“The release of Bomberman Dojo and Military Madness launches our participation into game content development for Android Market,” said Yoko Tsumagari, Vice President of Mobile Games at Hudson Entertainment. “Entering into this new marketplace will maximize new business opportunties and contribute towards our goal of enabling Bomberman and Military Madness to be experienced on all mobile platforms.”

Created specifically for Android, Bomberman Dojo maintains the essential Bomberman gameplay of defeating opponents by planting bombs and takes full advantage of the device’s online functionality to allow the creation and sharing of maps. In this mobile version of the classic action game, players can choose either an on-screen directional pad for tap control or use the touch screen to flick Bomberman in the desired direction.

Miltary Madness is a simple yet authentic combat simulation game made popular on the TurboGrafx-16 and mobile devices. The new Military Madness for Android is dramatically upgraded with intuitive touch screen control, revamped graphics, and a new engaging storyline revolving around humankind’s control over the moon. Despite these improved features, Military Madness still retains the classic turn based strategy gameplay from the previous versions.
