Bola

Playdom's soccer management game launched on Germany's VZnet social network by i-Jet Media.

The largest social games publisher and distributor in Russia and Eastern Europe, i-Jet Media launched Bola on German's leading social network VZnet Networks which includes studiVZ, schülerVZ and meinVZ platforms. The German name for Bola is Bundes Fußball. It is the first title by one of the larger American social games developer, Playdom, published by i-Jet Media in Europe.

It will be recalled that the announcement about the launch of strategic cooperation between i-Jet Media and Playdom regarding social games publishing was made in August 2010. According to the agreement, i-Jet Media will publish four games by Playdom in Russia, CIS and Europe this year. Soccer game Bola being popular on Facebook heads the list of these games.

Bundes Fußball, or Bola, is a game for soccer fans. The player has an opportunity to manage his own soccer club by choosing players, training them, managing team formation, and improving soccer stadium and its infrastructure. On the carreer peak, the player can become the owner of a star team participating in prestige international tournaments.

Alexey Kostarev, General Producer of i-Jet Media, considers the fact that Playdom has appeared in Europe and Russia to be the beginning of a new phase of the world social games market development. "Fast-growing social games markets of Europe and Russia are extremely attractive for large developers searching for new opportunities. Within half a year, it will become clear what large social games developers will take more advantageous position in Europe and Russia and get the higher revenues from here in the future."

From Alexey Kostarev's point of view, Playdom and other American developers going to enter Europe and Russia have an opportunity to consolidate positions on this territory with the help of i-Jet Media. At the same time, the Playdom and i-Jet Media partnership will result in filling European and Russian social games markets with interesting and high-quality game content.

In the nearest future, i-Jet Media will publish Bola on Russian social networks Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, and Moi Mir as well as European Netlog, Nasza Klasa, Rate.ee, and Tuenti. i-Jet Media counts on getting a new game portfolio from Playdom later on.
