Blockdot expansion

Opens New York office headed by former Gamelab boss Jong Woo.

May 14, 2010 (Dallas, TX) – Jong Woo, former President of Gamelab studios, has joined Dallas-based Blockdot, Inc. as Senior Business Development Executive to establish a presence in New York City for Blockdot’s growing portfolio of business.

Mr. Woo led Gamelab, best known for its acclaimed titles Diner Dash, Jojo’s Fashion Show and Gamestar Mechanic, to a level of critical and commercial success.

In this new position, Mr. Woo will engage new clients and partnerships with Blockdot’s branded entertainment, mobile applications and social gaming solutions.

“Jong’s depth of experience and success in leading innovative digital companies in a broad range of business initiatives, including sourcing and successfully closing game development deals, online and retail distribution and game console licensing, will prove invaluable in helping Blockdot expand into the New York area,” said Michael Bielinski, Vice President- Operations, Blockdot.

“I am excited to join the Blockdot team and help this growing innovative business continue its rapid expansion into the mobile and social media arena,” said Mr. Woo.

A graduate of Princeton University, Mr. Woo also holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
