Blast apart the enemy with perfect precision in Heatseeker – new Wii™ video now available

Set a course to www.codemasters.com/heatseeker to intercept the first ever Wii footage!

Heatseeker, the supercharged, blackout-inducing flight combat game coming late March, is set to give players unprecedented control over the military's finest aerial weapons thanks to an innovative use of the Wii controls.

When flying faster than the speed of sound, it's all about fine control; especially when a millimetre can make all the difference between winning the battle and being atomised by a tonne of heat-seeking, metal-rendering, explosive technology. See Heatseeker's precise control in action in the new Wii-exclusive video, now available to download from www.codemasters.com/heatseeker

Heatseeker's innovative and unique use of the Wii controls means that players have complete command over their turbo charged arsenal. Using one of the two available control methods, fighter jets and missiles respond instantly to help you make that 10-inch manoeuvre to prevent an enemy warhead shredding apart your F-15 Eagle.

"It's vital that your plane reacts instantly to your control inputs," says Andrew Wensley, Senior Producer for Heatseeker at Codemasters. "Even a hundredth of a second delay can prove fatal in air to air combat and, although we've provided the perfect control system, only the player can provide the nerves of steel necessary".

In Heatseeker, players are offered a choice between using the Wii Remote pointer as the plane's guiding system and using the Nunchuk just as a real fighter pilot would use his in-cockpit flight stick. Delivering enhanced graphics and advanced animations, players will want to slam on the airbrakes and reverse thrusters to enjoy the view.

Ben Palmer, Executive Producer at IR Gurus, says:

"Heatseeker on Wii is a big step forward for action gamers. It uses the superior processing power of Wii to raise the bar even higher for Heatseeker's distinctive and already spectacular visual style."

Heatseeker is set to redefine aerial combat on Wii, the PSP® (Playstation®Portable) and the Playstation®2 computer entertainment system when it launches late March. Pilots can intercept the latest intel and see the first ever Wii footage of Heatseeker by targeting www.codemasters.com/heatseeker.
