London, UK, 28th September 2009: Origin8 (makers of the acclaimed Sentinel strategy games and top 10 UK paid app Car Mania) are pleased to announce the release of BioSub, a tilt physics puzzle game for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
In BioSub, the player is tasked with neutralising unstable chemical canisters adrift deep within the ocean. Steer the BioSub by tilting the device, or with optional touch controls. Neutralize canisters by bumping like against like, or knock two differently-coloured canisters together to produce a third, which can sometimes help and sometimes hinder. Levels are timed: take too long and the canisters will blow, and the BioSub can only take so much punishment...
As the player descends, they will puzzle their way past reefs, mines and canisters chained in baffling formations. Careful strategy is needed to clear the area in the allotted time whilst avoiding obstacles. With 70 tricky levels – each with Origin8’s signature graphical polish – and high scores and achievements from the OpenFeint social gaming network, BioSub provides deep, substantial game play and a host of challenges.
