(Bochum, Germany, January 4 2011) Billiard Kings 2 is the new version of Soft Xpansion´s 3D billiard simulation program. It includes a large amount of various alternative billiard games integrated into one application: Pool (8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball, 14/1-Ball, One Pocket, Cowboy Pool), Snooker, American Snooker (new in Billiard Kings 2), Pyramid, English and Russian Billiard, 5 Pins, Carambol.
The program uses a modern, powerful 3D engine to achieve an impressive representation of the ball movements, as well as rich graphics and excellent sound quality. Billiard Kings 2 includes modes to play with friends on the same computer or over networks. The computer is also ready to act as the player´s opponent. The program gives the opportunity to choose from opponents with different levels of strength and experience.
The rules of each game largely conform to the rules of the Billiard Congress of America (Billiard). Only few adjustments were necessary to adjust gaming to the play on computers. Moreover, special attention was paid to conform to the rules of the World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association (Snooker), of the Russian Billiard Federation (Russian Billiard) and of the United States Billiard Association (Carambol).
