29thJune 2010: Supermassive Games TM , a leading UK games developer, has appointed Press Association Sport as its data supplier for Big Match Striker, the free-to-play downloadable PC football game where fans battle head to head in the ultimate championship of tactics and trivia.
The Guildford-based developer has appointed the world-renowned multimedia sports information supplier, which is part of the PA Group, to supply a daily feed of official football data to the game’s question engine, ensuring that the questions posed to players of Big Match Striker are accurate and concurrent with the real-life English football leagues.
Big Match Striker, slated for release in August, is aimed at football fans of all ages, testing their tactical and strategic skills and their football knowledge. Players enter competitive leagues, answering both historical and constantly-updated questions on The English Football League and its 92 clubs.
