SAN MATEO, CA – Nov. 9, 2010 – BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress and BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion offer a whole new level of immersion into the highly competitive world of Beybladers. Published by Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American subsidiary of HUDSON SOFT, BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress on Wii TM and BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion on the Nintendo DS TM are now available for $39.99 and $29.99, respectively. The television series from Nelvana and d-rights Inc. launched in Canada in May on YTV and debuted in the United States on the Cartoon Network in June.

The action is more thrilling than ever with BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress for Wii. The game features a complete game-specific story with the original characters from the show. The game is equipped with four-player “Battle Mode” competition allowing players to face off against three other human or AI controlled enemies, or play co-operatively with allies. BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress also includes a special DVD including a full-length episode titled, “Merci’s Dangerous Trap” from BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion television series with art unique to the disc. The special DVD will be exclusive to the limited edition BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress from November 9 or until supplies last for $39.99.

In BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion on the DS, players compete against 19 other Beybladers in the World Championships. Featuring voice commands using the DS microphone and supporting 2-player competition via the Nintendo ® Wi-Fi Connection or wirelessly using a single-card, BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion lets players battle for the rights to be the best. Players can play on various battle stadiums and utilize special attacks and winning strategies in BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion – Battle Fortress and BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion.

Beyblade DS Collector Editions will also be available at launch while supplies last for $34.99. The “Cyber Pegasus 100HF” Edition will be available at Toys "R" Us ® ; the “Bakushin Susanow 105F” Edition will be available at Walmart; and the “Counter Leone D125B” Edition can be found at other major retailers. Each collector edition will come with an exclusive in game character and toy Beyblade. These exclusive Beyblades have a unique metal facebolt not available anywhere else, and allow enthusiasts to customize their Beyblades to be uniquely their own.
