Battlefield V and Pode lead Nordic Game Awards nominations

Hazelight's A Way Out and Fatshark's Warhammer: Vermintide 2 are also up for multiple awards

The Nordic Game Conference has announced the nominees of this year's Nordic Game Awards, which are a highlight of the Malmö-based event.

The five nominees for the biggest prize of the night, the Nordic Game of the Year, showcase the variety in the region's game development scene: Hazelight's A Way Out, EA DICE's Battlefield V, Supercell's Brawl Stars, Throughline Games' Forgotten Anne, Henchman & Goon's Pode, and Fatshark's Warhammer: Vermintide 2.

Representing opposite ends of the games industry -- one a huge AAA production, the other a small game from an independent studio -- Battlefield 5 and Pode are the most nominated games, each appearing in four different categories.
