BATracer celebrates first year of racing, launches F1 2007 championship

For Immediate Release

BATracer - a free motorsports manager web game - has celebrated its first anniversary. The site boasts now over 50,000 players and in the first 12 months over 200,000 races have taken place! As part of the celebration, 4 new carsets have been added including F1 2007 and a Le Mans themed series.

BATracer simulates in detail F1, Touring cars, Champ cars, A1GP and many others. The game is unique amongst manager style web games in that the player takes the role of a driver and must work with other players in the team to ensure success.

For a web game there is a surprising amount of graphics, with cars and helmets which can be painted and a multitude of post-race graphs to study as well as live circuit maps. More features and carsets are regularly added, and players can make suggestions in the busy forum. BATracer supports private games so players can set-up a closed league, which to take one example makes a great platform for inter-forum battles between friends.

Playing BATracer is a uniquely addictive and entertaining experience amongst a sea of dull and uninspiring web games and if you have yet to experience BATracer now is the perfect time to start your racing career.
