Bandai Wireless Announces Brunswick Billiards Challenge

Highly detailed physics engine provides the most realistic experience available

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cypress, California - May 10, 2005 - Bandai America Inc, a subsidiary of the third largest toy company in the world and known for such properties as Power Rangers, Teen Titans, and Strawberry Shortcake, has announced the fully 3D polygonal Brunswick Billiards Challenge for wireless phones. The most realistic and detailed pool simulation available, Brunswick Billiards Challenge brings to cell phones the level of quality players expect from the most trusted brand in pool products.

In Brunswick Billiards Challenge, players take on one of six characters with individual strengths and weaknesses that will test the skills of even the most confident pool sharks. A detailed physics engine for ball and cushion behaviors and a meticulous replication of corner and side pocket circumferences guarantees unparalleled realistic gameplay.

The game also features an intuitive shot set-up allowing players to adjust overall aim of the shot, cue angle, and cue height for setting up spin and executing jump shots. Fully controllable camera views allowing the user to examine every shot from virtually any angle, and active camera work dramatically illustrates every shot, including replays.

"Brunswick has been one of the most trusted brands in pool products for almost 250 years" says Masao Ohata, Vice President of Bandai Network Entertainment. "We are pleased to offer a realistic billiards experience that lives up to the Brunswick brand."
