BAFTA – Be Part of It

Nintendo and Sony take their new releases to the big screen.

03/03/11 – BAFTA are partnering with IGN & VUE to bring gaming to the big screen, with the first-ever “BAFTA – Be Part of It” video games event at Vue Westfield, Shepherds Bush, London.

The free ticket-only event takes over the cinema on Tuesday 8 March and celebrates the build-up to this year’s GAME British Academy Video Games Awards.  BAFTA’s ‘Be Part of It’ event bring fans closer to the creative talent behind their favourite games, films and TV shows.

Gamers can apply for the limited FREE tickets at http://go.ign.com/eventbooking - and will get to see some of 2011’s most hotly anticipated games, as well as hear insider info direct from the developers.  After the presentation on one of Vue’s breathtaking “Extreme Screens” a hands-on area gives gamers a chance to be among the first to play Nintendo’s ground breaking 3DS handheld and launch titles, including Pilotwings Resort, as well as unreleased games such as Sony’s epic MotorStorm: Apocalypse in amazing 3D. 

One lucky audience member will scoop a pair of tickets for the Game British Academy Video Game Awards, taking place at the London Hilton on the evening of Wednesday 16 March. 

Due to age ratings, attendees will need to be over 18 and provide photographic ID on entry.
