BAFTA Charity Poker Tournament

A big hand for Halvard Halvorsen, winner of Glu/Nokia N-Gage-sponsored game in London.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

London, UK – June 09, 2008 – Glu Mobile Inc. (Nasdaq: GLUU), a leading global publisher of mobile games, are pleased to announce that Halvard Halvorsen has taken the crown as winner of last night’s BAFTA Charity Poker Tournament, which was sponsored by Glu in conjunction with Nokia N-Gage.

Taking place at London’s 195 Piccadilly, the tournament was an exciting occasion with a hotly contested final showdown, which featured Christopher Biggins on commentary duties. As winner of the tournament, Halvorsen takes home a brand new N-Gage compatible Nokia device, featuring Glu’s ‘World Series of Poker: Pro Challenge’ mobile game, a Nintendo DS console and games bundle, and a cash prize.

The evening’s two runners-up, Steve Ryder and Alex Bubb, also won Nokia devices, ‘World Series of Poker: Pro Challenge’ and Nintendo DS bundles. All the remaining finalists won Nokia devices with ‘World Series of Poker: Pro Challenge’.

The main benefactors of the night were the Muir Maxwell Trust, a charity established by Ann and Jonny Maxwell in June 2003, in response to the needs of children with severe epilepsy. Since 2003, the Trust has raised nearly £3 million helping families affected by the condition.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to hold this poker night in conjunction with Glu Mobile and Nokia,” said Tim Wapshot of BAFTA’s Games Committee. “The evening has provides plenty of thrills and spills, and raised a significant amount of money for our chosen charity, the Muir Maxwell Trust.”

“We were delighted to work with BAFTA and Nokia to sponsor this event,” said Frank Keeling, Managing Director of Publishing, EMEA. “The Muir Maxwell Trust is an extremely worthy cause, and we’ve all had a great deal of fun this evening. Congratulations to Halvard, his poker face was immaculate!”

Glu’s ‘World Series of Poker®: Pro Challenge’ has been a strong performer in the mobile games chart, and received an 8/10 Pocket Gamer Silver Award upon its release last year. The game, which recently launched on the N-Gage platform, was developed and published by Glu through its multi-year, worldwide alliance between Glu and Harrah’s License Company, LLC, an affiliate of Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: HET).

‘World Series of Poker®: Pro Challenge’ pits players against top poker players from around the world, allowing fans to go head-to-head in a mobile poker match against digital representations of some of poker’s biggest celebrities. Players can challenge renowned stars Johnny Chan, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Shannon Elizabeth, Scotty Nguyen, Annie Duke and Michael Mizrachi.
