Backbreaker

Third training camp video highlights how to deliver the perfect pass.

In the third video in the " Backbreaker Training Camp" series, 505 Games and NaturalMotion today revealed how players can perfect their passes in the soon-to-be released groundbreaking football video game.

Backbreaker's intuitive control scheme maps player movement to the left stick and passing mechanics to the right stick. The all-new video demonstrates how these simplified controls help players scan the field to read the coverage and complete the perfect pass. A quick flick of the right stick results in a bullet pass, while pressing down and up lofts the ball over the defense.

Reading the action on the field will help players to avoid interceptions. By holding the left trigger to activate Backbreaker's focus mode, players have the ability to hone in on a specific receiver. Evoking true-to-life tactical decision making, strategy will be an important element for players to consider; although passes are thrown with maximum precision in focus mode, players will be less likely to see the lineman hurling towards them for a sack.

Players can go for a first down when Backbreaker ships for Xbox 360™ and PlayStation®3 on June 1, 2010 for an MSRP of $49.99.
