Backbone Entertainment Announces Death, Jr. Costume Line

Costumes available now for Halloween and party festivities

EMERYVILLE, CA - October 19, 2006 - Backbone Entertainment, a division of Foundation 9 Entertainment, today announced the official release of an original line of "Death, Jr." party costumes. Produced by Smiffy's, the leading manufacturer of party and Halloween products, the costumes are currently available for purchase exclusively at www.buycostumes.com.

"The popularity of the franchise and the dark-humored character styles make 'Death Jr.' perfectly suited for costumes, accessories and party products" said Mike Mika, Studio Head of Backbone Entertainment's Emeryville location. "We believe that Smiffy's has done a great job making these the must-have costumes for Halloween."

Just in time for Halloween, the "Death, Jr." costume line lets fans and party-goers finally dress up as their favorite "Death, Jr." characters. Adults can choose from a Death, Jr. or Grim Reaper costume, while teen sizes are available in Death, Jr., Pandora, and Smith and Weston outfits. Standard masks are available for all costumes except Pandora, whose wig and trademark black and purple tights can also be purchased separately. Currently, 100 limited edition Death, Jr. and Pandora masks have also been released.

The "Death, Jr." franchise is supported by a top-rated comic book series, and will soon include an upcoming manga series, as well as two new games individual to the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS systems. "Death, Jr. 2: The Root of Evil" for PSP is slated for release on Halloween.
