Baby Cortex releases

Alphabet Car and Baby Musician, both for youngsters, available on the App Store now.

HONG KONG and BOSTON – Dec. 1, 2010 – This holiday season Baby Cortex is turning the family’s iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch into interactive “edutainment” devices. A member of the Outblaze Group, educational software provider Baby Cortex introduces two new applications: Alphabet Car and Baby Musician, both in standard and HD versions. Alphabet Car and Baby Musician are both available worldwide now at Apple’s iTunes app store.

Alphabet Car / Alphabet Car HD

Alphabet Car puts children aged up to seven behind the steering wheel in order to learn letters, words and spelling in a fun and interactive manner. By tilting the iPad or iPhone to steer their vehicle, kids must run over letters to form words and unlock new levels and cars. With Alphabet Car, parents and their children will discover:

• More than 40 levels of driving fun

• More than a dozen vehicles, starting with the “Baby Bus”

• Difficulty modes ranging from Preschool to Expert, to cover   the various stages of a child’s development

• A colorful, interactive and entertaining 3D environment, complemented by cheerful music

• Replay value: once a level is unlocked, it can be replayed indefinitely, offering hours of practice, learning and fun

Alphabet Car HD is available now for the iPad for US$3.99, while Alphabet Car is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch for US$2.99. Both versions also are available as free trial “lite” editions. Though only recently released, Alphabet Car already has climbed to the top of several iTunes category charts worldwide.

Baby Musician / Baby Musician HD

Baby Musician turns the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch into a digital orchestra for children of all ages. Conducting an adorable ensemble of animal musicians, young maestros lead their band through a variety of classic children’s’ tunes, including “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”, “London Bridge is Falling Down”, and “Three Blind Mice”. Players can select one of the animal band members – including a cuddly koala, a bright-eyed kitty or a friendly frog – to learn more about a particular musical instrument. With a piano, flute, cello and more, children can learn the sound, spelling and pronunciation of each instrument in Baby Musician.

Baby Musician HD is available now for the iPad on iTunes for US$2.99, while Baby Musician is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch for US$1.99. Both also are available as “lite” free trial editions.

“With more than 2 million downloads to date, Baby Cortex applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are quickly becoming popular and trusted apps for entertaining and teaching children,” said David Kim, CEO of Baby Cortex. “Our newest releases, including the chart-climbing Alphabet Car HD, have been met with great enthusiasm as parents look for fun and creative edutainment and utility applications that are age-appropriate for their young ones.”
