Babel Media named in Sunday Times' Tech Track 100

Game development services specialist Babel Media has been named in the Sunday Times' ARM Tech Track 100 league table of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK, ranking at number 81 in this year's listing.

The table, which ranks unquoted technology companies, is based on increase in revenues between the year 2000 and 2002 - a period in which Babel has increased its year-on-year revenues by some 59.32 per cent.

Babel is the only games company to make it into the ranking this year - an achievement which follows the company's placing at number 30 in New Media Age's Top 100 Interactive Agencies 2003.

"This is great news for the company," enthused Babel managing director Algy Williams, "and underlines our steady growth since our formation in 1999. We have grown at an even faster rate over the last 12 months and hope to be significantly higher in the table when Fast Track 2004 is published."
