Eye of newt and toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog... In the free-to-play game hit Avalon Heroes, something wicked comes this way. Starting immediately, players get to participate in the official Halloween event to rake in prizes and rewards. Moreover, the interface has been completely overhauled in all available languages and lobbies. Innovative auto-balance functions now ensure a more equalized team distribution and an even more enjoyable gameplay.
During the Halloween event players are sent on a large-scale pumpkin hunt. In Battle and Adventure Modes, numbered pumpkins can be collected from all creeps, which eventually lead to the ultimate "Huge Scary Pumpkin". Once the event ends, all the collected veggies will be swapped for attractive rewards. In addition, the most successful players will be awarded special prizes that we prefer to keep secret for now. Moreover, in the course of the game, Halloween potions can be found that grant temporary advantages in battle.
But the new update has much more to offer! Besides the optimized interface and the auto-balance functions, a number of additional changes have been implemented. Avalon Heroes players now get to choose their heroes immediately before the match starts, and not while they are waiting in the lobby. Also, the team level system has been replaced by a more favorable rating system. As a result, rating points will now be added or subtracted following each match. Thus, players cannot see exactly how strong a potential adversary really is; only a tendency can be observed.
