"Huge" update arrives.

Munich, Germany, June 24, 2010

Avalon Heroes is set to continue with more gaming fun than ever before! With its latest patch, burda:ic not only provides DotA fans with two new heroes, but also adds a tough-as-nails arena mode which makes for a whole new gaming experience: Alongside its mission, battle, adventure and scenario modes, the free-to-play online RTS RPG now also includes an option where players confront powerful monsters in an arena and strive for the most valuable of treasures. And there is even more in store with the new update: DotA players can also look forward to new, individual costumes.

Avalon Heroes just got tougher than ever: The arena mode provides a multitude of challenges, and a plethora of rewards await on the path to the ultimate boss fight. In the brand new game mode, players need to eliminate four enemies in different rooms within a given time in order to acquire rare "treasure boxes", and finally win the grand jackpot. Moreover, DotA fans now also get to plunge into gripping battles with new heroes Masamichi and Teolia. Masamichi is a close-combat expert fighting for Oriens, and has mastered some devastating attack skills. On the side of Aeonia, Teolia is a skilled new female long-distance fighter who has mastered the art of blocking enemy attacks. Finally, six heroes now present themselves in new outfits: The new costumes make Raiksha, Ignes, Takiru, Keias, Jarje and Neklit appear more unique than ever on the battlefield.
