3ds Max maker joins TIGA.

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, today announced Autodesk is its latest member.

Autodesk, is a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software and its award winning tools are used to develop contemporary video games worldwide.  These include industry standards such as Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya 3D asset creation tools for artists, together with software and middleware tools for developers such as Autodesk MotionBuilder, HumanIK, Kynapse and FBX.

Together this portfolio provides games teams with a broad set of tools for creating 3D characters, props, environments and animation for groundbreaking games.  Autodesk also makes innovative software solutions for solving very specific challenges in game development such as facial animation, motion data editing and normal map baking. Autodesk’s global headquarters are in San Rafael, California, US with UK offices in Farnborough, Hampshire and central London.
