Australia charts: GT4 fends off Metal Gear 3

Two PS2 exclusives have captured the top spots in the Australian charts, with Gran Turismo 4 holding on to the number one slot as Metal Gear Solid 3 trails in second.

The Sims 2 continues to sell well, dropping only one place to number eight. Expansion pack The Sims 2 University also managed to remain in the top three.

GTA San Andreas held onto its sold number five position while Playboy: The Mansion slipped from four to six. As in the UK, only one Nintendo DS title made it into the top ten - Nintendo's Super Mario 64 DS, down one place to number four.

NFS: Underground 2 remains a regular in the top ten, this week rising three places to number seven. Halo 2 also edged back in at the number ten slot, while Rugby 2005 debuted at number nine.
