ATARI'S PAN-EUROPEAN EUROSPORT DEAL MEANS GAME, SET AND MATCH FOR FANS OF TOP SPIN

Formidable Mixed Doubles Pairing of Atari and Eurosport Offers Great Prizes to Promote the Best Ever Tennis Game, Coming to PC this October

LONDON, UK - 22 October 2004 - Atari announce a deal with Europe's leading sports channel, Eurosport, to promote the forthcoming personal computer release of sporting video game classic, Top SpinTM, due for release on PC across Europe on October 29.

The campaign, which starts today, takes the form of promotional TV spots on the Eurosport channel, and click-through banners on www.eurosport.com. Viewers and surfers are directed to the promotional microsite where great prizes can be won by the more attentive tennis fans amongst Eurosport's 21 million daily viewers. From now until the middle of December, visitors to the microsite will have the chance to answer 3 tennis related questions. Those who know their backhands from their double faults and answer the questions correctly will automatically be entered into the prize draw for a chance to win.

The mouth-watering prizes on offer are:

  • Samsung Sync Master SM193P TFT monitors - cutting edge, ergonomically designed and the official TFT monitor of the World Cyber Games.
