Atari, Inc. Announces Removal of Board Members

NEW YORK, Oct. 8: Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR), an interactive entertainment company, today announced that its majority stockholder, California U.S. Holdings, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infogrames Entertainment, S.A., removed James Ackerly, Ronald C. Bernard, Michael G. Corrigan, Denis Guyennot, and Ann E. Kronen from the Board of Directors of Atari via written stockholder consent effective as of October 5, 2007.
