With England claiming a stunning victory in the nPower Ashes Series, Codemasters® is celebrating the win with two new videos from Ashes Cricket 2009 , the official game of the series. Both videos feature gameplay footage from the number one selling title; one focussing on the Wii™ edition and the other showing footage from the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and PC versions.
Ashes Cricket 2009 delivers all the exciting, athletic, skilful and technical elements that gamers expect from Codemasters, the home of video game cricket. Building on the heritage that Codemasters has enjoyed with its best-selling Brian Lara series, Ashes Cricket 2009 continues to lead the field with great batting, bowling and fielding gameplay and authenticity that made the series a huge hit with cricket fans the world over. Bringing the game to the Nintendo Wii for the first time, players can perform the same bowling and batting motions of their heroes using the Wii Remote.
As well as the authentic Ashes experience with fully licensed teams, kit, players and stadia from the npower Ashes series 2009, Ashes Cricket 2009 also allows players to take to the field as a variety of different nations for Test matches, One Day Internationals and 20 Over games. Ashes Cricket 2009 is available now on PlayStation®3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii.
