Last chance for Early Bird tickets to Nordic Game Conference

Danish studio Playdead to open Malmo show

Today is your last chance to take advantage of the Early Bird ticket packages for Nordic Game Conference 2017 and secure yourself the biggest discount possible, with prices increasing from €560 to €699 for a full conference pass at midnight CET tomorrow, March 16.

The Malmo show kicks off on May 17 and will host the best of both local and international development talent, including a speaker track curated by GamesIndustry.biz, more details of which will follow soon.

Opening the speaker line up of the main show will be Playdead, the studio behind both Inside and Limbo, talking about the creation of one of Inside's most iconic creatures. Spoiler warnings abound, though, so make sure you play the game first! The opening session for this year's batch of expert-level technical talks has been confirmed, too, with Timo Heinäpurola taking the stage to discuss Reforged's in house engine. "Optimising our Renderer for Metal on iOS", will see Timo explain some of the steps required to optimising a rendering pipeline.

There'll also be an extensive matchmaking service, three whole days full of speakers, discussion and panel workshops, parties, meetings and new opportunities. Don't miss out.
