Sam Forrest joins Team 17 as PR director

Former Jagex and THQ man joins Nottingham commercial team

Team 17 has appointed a new PR director in Sam Forrest, who brings 20 years of industry experience to the team. Forrest joins from Jagex, where he was VP of Communications. Previously, he'd spent nine years at THQ.

Forrest joins a burgeoning team based in Nottingham which will drive the company's commercial actions. Other recent talent acquisitions include Chris Eden of Microsoft, Harley Homewood from Get Games Go and Capcom's Mickey Torode.

"As our label of amazing and talented indie developers grow, so must the pedigree and experience of our senior marketing and commercial management team," said Team 17 MD Debbie Bestwick. "We are about to embark on a long and exciting journey of growth and global expansion and strong, experienced personalities such as Mickey, Chris, Harley and Sam and are exactly what we need to make this happen."
