Captain Toad fails to break UK top 10

COD, GTA V and FIFA 15 remain dominant in slow UK software chart

Nintendo's Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was the only new software release in the UK last week, though it failed to trouble a largely unchanged top ten.

The Wii U exclusive entered the chart in 16th place, far short of the market share required to reach the top five. And there was only one change in the top five, with Far Cry 4 leapfrogging Ubisoft stablemate Assassin's Creed: Unity to reach fourth, and FIFA 15, GTA V and COD: Advanced Warfare occupying third, second and first respectively.

However, the dominance of that trio would likely have been shaken by a more formidable crop of new releases, with all three games declining more than 45 per cent in sales week-on-week.

The top ten is below, courtesy of Gfk Chart-Track.

@Jim
On who's chart was that? Maybe some WiiU only chart, but certainly not across all platforms.

All platforms, Klaus. And it was GFK-Chart Track figures via mediabiz.de that released the data.
