Conference line-up unveiled.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand – October 20, 2008 – AnimfxNZ, the world’s leading conference for digital animation, visual effects, animation and games, today announced that the full schedule for the conference is available online. Highlights include keynotes from Aimee McCammon (Park Road Post), and Carolyn Soper (Disney Animation Studios), as well as panels, networking, and evening events as the future of creative convergence is defined. “The schedule has come together with something for everyone interested in animation, VFX, film, and games,” said Jos Ruffell, Chairman of the New Zealand Games, Animation and Visual Effects Trust (NZGAV), the organizing body behind Animfx. “We're also opening up a limited number of additional early-bird tickets to give everyone one last chance to get the best possible price for AnimfxNZ. We're not announcing the number of additional tickets available, but we're confident the early-bird tickets will sell out in the next week.”

Under the theme, “Where Creative Convergence Begins,” AnimfxNZ is bringing together leaders from the four major creative digital mediums to share ideas and further the creation of digital entertainment. AnimfxNZ will take place November 14-16th, in Wellington New Zealand and present a line-up of keynotes and panels that feature the brightest minds in digital media today. Registration is now open with a limited number of early bird tickets released for $675, after which the price goes to NZ $790.

AnimfxNZ 2008 has already announced Aimee McCammon, Jeff Barnes, Laurel Walker, Carolyn Giardina, Barrie Osborne, Carolyn Soper, Steve Schklair, Jeff Okun, Habib Zargarpour, Joseph Olin, Tim Willits, Henry LaBounta, Mario Wynands, Joshua Greer, Harrison Ellenshaw, David Scammell and Patrick von Sychowski as speakers at this year’s conference.
