Andrew Flintoff Q&A

1. The EA Sports Cricket 2005 videogame offers gamers a great insight into the sport, but what's it like to see yourself on a computer game?

It's a bit weird seeing yourself and team mates in a game actually, but I love it!

2. Do you play the game with any of your team mates? If so, who's the most competitive?!

Yes it's been in the changing room throughout the Test series. I'd like to say I'm the best, but as you'd expect with sportsmen we're all really competitive..

3. Who would win between you and Shane Warne?!

Me, of course, although I'm sure Warney would give me a good run for my money.

4. Which Aussie do you most looking forward to playing against?

They are all top quality cricketers, but Warney is a different class. He's one of the toughest competitors around as well as one of the best bowlers of all time. He's not too bad with the bat either.

5. Did you targeti any individuals on the Aussie team?!

I concentrated on my own performance. The Aussies were very strong mentally, so I didn't want to spend too much energy trying to ruffle them. The best way of getting to them is beating them!!!

6. Now England has won the Ashes, how long before Cricket overtakes football as the nation's favourite sport?

I'm not sure it will just yet! The public view is definitely changing, but it's still a way before it's up there with football.

7. Do you play any other sports, if so which ones?

I'm a natural competitor so I love football and rugby too. I'm also learning how to play golf and getting better all the time!

8. What would you do if you didn't play cricket?

That's a tough one; I've never wanted to do anything else.

9. Did you have a cricketing idol growing up?

Ian Botham was a fantastic all rounder.

10. If you could have 4 sporting greats, present or past, for dinner, who would they be?

I would have Botham, Warney, Pele and Donald Bradman.
