Analyst says Blizzard’s Titan is a casual MMO

Sterne Agee’s Arvind Bhatia predicts 2013 release

A new report from analysts Sterne Agee refers to a new casual MMO from Blizzard, which has been confimed as Titan, the publisher's mysterious new IP.

Arvind Bhatia mentioned the MMO as one of the catalysts in increased future earnings for Activision Blizzard, and later confirmed to Gamasutra that he was talking about Titan, the new project revealed by the World Of Warcraft publisher in December last year.

He also predicted a 2013 release for the game.

Bhatia also mentions Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, a title that combines a video game with physical toys, expansions for current MMOs and Bungie’s collaboration with Activision as helping to grow profits for the company over the next year.

So far Blizzard has refused to give details of Titan but has said “We're not trying to make a WoW sequel.”
