ASSASSIN'S CREED™ LEADS STRONG LINE-UP OF GAMES AT UNIQUE FUSION EVENT

London, UK - 19th October, 2007 - Fuse 07, an exciting and innovative gaming and music event; confirms Ubisoft's highly anticipated Assassin's Creed will headline a thrilling line-up of games at The Shepherds Bush Empire on Friday 2nd November.

Fuse 07 brings together the worlds of gaming and cutting-edge rock music into a unique and unforgettable experience. Two thousand gaming and music fans will pack out the legendary Shepherds Bush Empire to witness the best of the country's unsigned bands and most talented gamers compete.

A giant screen will be entertaining the crowd through the night, and the audience will be treated to a gameplay demo of Assassin's Creed, one of the most anticipated games of the year, weeks ahead of its release date. There will also be a sneak peek at Tom Clancy's EndWar, plus the chance to play other top Ubisoft games Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter ® 2 and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent.

Headlining the music for the evening are J Rock phenomenon Dir en Grey www.direngrey.co.jp, a groundbreaking band from Japan, supported by UK rockers Beat Union www.beatunion.co.uk fresh from a tour with Good Charlotte.

The 'Gibson Battle of the Bands' www.fuseuploaded.com is the real deal for unsigned bands as the competition leads to a professional development contract with Record Label Visible Noise - one of the most influential independent labels in rock music. The four bands that generate the most votes on the website will take to the stage alongside the cult headliners and in front of prestigious panel of judges, including Dan Carter from the Radio 1 Rock Show, representatives from Gibson, Metal Hammer and Julie Weir, head of Visible Noise. Additionally, Jam Sessions, the ground breaking Nintendo DS game for budding guitarists from Ubisoft, will go head-to-head with real guitars supplied by Gibson in a riff duel.

The final of the Ubisoft Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas 'Battle of the Clans' http://fuse06.uk.ubi.com/index.html will see the country's best gamers on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft compete in the culmination of a tournament which has seen the best competitive Xbox LIVE® players battle it out across the UK. Along with the prestige that goes with being crowned the Fuse 07 clan champions, the victorious team will also win fantastic prizes from Ubisoft, one of the world's biggest videogames publishers.
